A Chinese Painted Grey Pottery Figure of Recumbent Horse, Han Dynasty
漢 彩繪灰陶馬
Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-220 A.D.)
Molded with stylized cheekbones, protruding eyes, and flared nostrils over the open mouth. Four rectangular apertures on the underside for the legs, two round apertures to head for ears, and an aperture for tail.
